All-Request Organ Program
Saturday, January 19, at 4 pm

The September invitation to send organ tune requests generated an overwhelming response — four hours’ worth of all kinds of music! In addition to one-half of the October dedication recital being devoted to requests, Dr. J. Richard Szeremany played an all-request program in November.

Now, to conclude all your requests, Dr. Szeremany will present a final all-request program. Selections will include music favorites by Sousa, Elgar, something from the Nutcracker Suite, Robert Elmore’s “Fantasy on Nursery Rhymes,” Jean Langlais’s “Homage to Frescobaldi” for pedals alone, the Virgil Fox arrangement of Bach’s “Come, Sweetest Death,” Paul Manz’s dramatic setting of CWM RHONDDA (Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah), Mendelssohn’s “Sonata on ‘Our Father Who Art in Heaven,’ ” “To A Wild Rose,” and “The Palms.” Admission is free for all. Please join us!
