Who are Presbyterian Women?
Presbyterian Women (PW)
is a national women’s organization open to all women of
the Presbyterian Church (USA) who choose to participate
in or be supportive of the organization in any way. If
you’re a Presbyterian and a woman, you are already a PW.
We have no membership rolls or dues; we seek only to
faithfully serve God from our little corner of the
world.
|
- to nurture our faith
through prayer and study
- to support the
mission of the church worldwide
- to work for justice
and peace, and
- to build an
inclusive caring community of women.
PW is organized at all
levels of the PC (USA)—in congregations, presbyteries
and synods as well as General Assembly. This
connectional system allows ideas and information to
continually flow back and forth to strengthen the work
of PW and the ministry of the PC (USA).
