When Pam Ferrante, a member of the Parenting Circle, saw the bulletin board with pictures of those members who cannot attend church regularly, the idea of families making visits to these people was born. The group had discussed how to help the children understand about mission and helping others, and this seemed like a win-win opportunity. The families began the visitations in December to bring some joy and cheer of the season to those not able to join in the Advent and Christmas activities at the church. Perhaps some long-term relationships can be formed that will continue the contacts throughout the church year.
