Performances and events
 The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is returning to East Liberty for a third annual Community Engagement Concert! The PSO will present a Community Engagement Concert at East Liberty Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 14th at 7:00 p.m. PSO Resident Conductor Lawrence Loh will conduct a string orchestra from the PSO. The PSO’s own Scott Bell and Jeremy Black will perform a duet for oboe and violin by Bach; the concert will also feature music by Mozart and Grieg. A pre-concert student performance will take place from 6:00-6:45, and a post-concert student performance will take place from 8:30-9:00 (ELPC Social Hall). All ticket proceeds from the concert will stay in the East Liberty Area Community, benefiting local instrumental music programs. Tickets for adults are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Click image above to view poster.Young musicians, and their musically inclined parents, are invited to participate in Hope Academy’s new East Liberty Community Engagement Orchestra (EL-CEO). Under the direction of conductor Federico Garcia, from Alia Musica, students have the opportunity to learn more about music while they practice and perform. Hope Academy teaching artists lead sectionals and provide additional coaching. Please mark your calendars for the following dates!
