Brandon is in the home stretch. He
is quickly moving through the six-rank String Organ.
Fortunately, string stops didn't mean much in the 1970's, and
these ranks were left largely untouched during the Baroque-ization
of the organ. The pipes are pretty much as Skinner left them,
which means they need only a little attention from Brandon to
reregulate and account for the effect of 70 years and gravity. The ELPC Aeolian-Skinner Organ is being restored at the Goulding and Wood Organ Company,
Indianapolis, Indiana.
