Justice Committee

The Mission of the Justice Committee is to promote and advocate for justice in our local community, our church, the PCUSA, and the rest of the world. We provide education and outreach for justice issues in several subcommittees: Chair is Carol Chonoska. View the Mission Activities page to see upcoming events.

Each subcommittee will bring issues or calls to action to the congregation through the Justice Committee. Educational or informational programs are planned throughout the year. Additional information can be found in ELPC’s library (first floor) on the Justice shelf. Additional issues are addressed as they are brought to the committee. We generally meet after church on the second Sunday of the month. Meeting dates are posted on the mission calendar. We welcome new members and new ideas. Contact Carol Chonoska, Justice chair, or at (724) 272-9722.

The Director of Mission Ministries oversees the day-to-day operations; the Mission Board and four committees are dedicated members of the congregation who volunteer their time and energy. Please prayerfully consider becoming involved in or financially supporting these ministries.
