Become a member or friend of ELPCIf you’re interested in becoming a member, or joining the church as a friend, learn what it means to become a member or friend of ELPC by attending one of our next Inquirers’ classes. These two-session classes are a great chance to hear from church members and our pastoral staff about what it means to be a person of faith, and the ministry and vision of our church. Upcoming Inquirers’ Class To find out when future Inquirers’ Classes will be offered, or for more information, call Gloria Knopp, (412) 441-3800 x22. Please let Gloria know if you need childcare. We hope you will join us soon. Members are received by the Session and then welcomed by the congregation during worship service with special prayers and an affirmation of faith. A faithful member accepts Christ’s call to be involved responsibly in the ministry of the church. Such involvement includes taking part in the common life and worship of a particular church, supporting the work of the church through the giving of money, time, and talents, and responding to God’s activity in the world through service to others. Find out more on our iServe page. No person shall be denied membership because of race, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, worldly condition, or any other reason not related to profession of faith.
